Why do churches want to have mystery shoppers?
Businesses and organizations want to understand what the customer experience is like. A church is NOT a business, but like a business, they too want to know how someone visiting their church for the first time feels. Do they make them feel welcome? Is the church friendly to them? Can a visitor get information about ministries within the church? When people visit do they want to come back again? Gathering this information helps churches better understand what first-time guests experience and how they can make them feel more welcome.
